As a key partner to Preston County Schools on their After School Explorers-21st Century Community Learning Center grant, The EdVenture Group provides capacity building/support, professional development, and strategic consulting services to project staff. The longstanding partnership between The EdVenture Group and Preston County Schools allows our staff to provide consulting and program support that is built on 10+ years of institutional knowledge of both the program and the county school system. 

Key Activities: 

• Provide regular ongoing consulting and collaboration to support long-term goals and sustainability of the program 

• Development and delivery of in-person professional development at all sites 
• Coordinate online professional development “Google Classroom” allowing staff to complete required professional development sessions virtually  
• In-person/observational feedback visits to all sites 
• Specialized student facing sessions focused on social and emotional learning
