The EdVenture Group, Carnegie Mellon University, Play Included and Care for Education are collaborating to develop new learning experiences that support families and caregivers in helping children learn, grow, and thrive, while strengthening the connection between home and school.
This work is focused on practical, family-friendly approaches that can be used in everyday life and supported by educators and community partners—which truly makes learning creative and fun.

In partnership with Carnegie Mellon University, the team launched the initiative with a collaborative kickoff focused on implementation, training, and innovation in family engagement.

We joined Carnegie Mellon University’s Entertainment Technology Center for ONE X ONE, a day of playful learning, creativity, and connection bringing together people across the playful learning ecosystem.
The week continued with Brick by Brick advanced facilitator training, led by Dr. Gina Gomez de la Cuesta with Play Included, deepening our approach to playful learning, connection, and belonging.
Throughout WV, our team is hosting fun-filled pop-up events designed to bring families, students, educators, and community members together through creativity, connection, and LEGO® hands-on play!
